As a Certified Hand Therapist, I empathize with my patients and try to put myself in their shoes while they are going through therapy. I strive to do anything within reason to help restore a sense of "normal" for them whether it is as simple as dressing indepently or as great as returning to the sports arena. In return, I expect them to commit themselves to our therapy program. It makes for a good team and typically good outcomes!
